Product Description

The "Cannonball" print is one of nearly 100 vignettes in the "Being a Kid" series drawn from the boyhood experiences of the artist, David Gildersleeve. This print is based on "actual" events. Click image to enlarge.

Boys are naturally impish and they love to tease their younger sisters. At the swimming pool, sisters are a favorite target and are subject to splashing, squirting, and other forms of taunting, but by far their favorite form of “fun” at the pool is the “CANNONBALL”.

In reality, the cannonball simply reflects a boy’s love of being able to make a big splash and be the center of attention — and their sister gives them a good excuse to be a “boy”.

All kids love to swim and the cannonball has been practiced (and perfected) by all … maybe even you?

This print (11" x 17") is foam-core backed and suitable for framing, and is perfect for hanging in a boy's room. All kids love to swim and the cannonball has been practiced (and perfected) by all. Perhaps you can also say – "I was once that boy!"

A walk down memory lane!
